However another supposed benefit is that it helps your blood increase the oxygen level, helping you breathe better. So the doctor say that fish oil does not raise your sugar level. However, why would the doctors day that fish oil can raise your sugar level, when they are prescribing it to many people. In fact they even have fish oil for dogs. Does Fish Oil Thin The Blood



It has been reported that fish oil can thin the blood. What thinning the blood will do is make you prone for excessive bleeding when you get a cut, or have an increase in nose bleeds, however this should not affect your sugar level, so this is not the reason that fish oil raises your sugar level.
